Thane Zilla Parishad (ZP) is recruiting candidates for different posts
for the current year (2013). Thane has a population of about 59,02,473
in the cities and in rural areas there is a strength of around 22,29,376
people. Administrative institutions in the district are Municipal
Corporations, Municipal Councils, Gram Panchayat, I.R.D.P Blocks, Police
Stations and Police Out Post.
Zilla Parishad Thane Vacancy Details
206 Vacancies available in Thane (ZP)
are for Agriculture Officer. There are four posts available. Three posts
are for Sr. Assistant in Accounts. Six posts are for female supervisor.
One post is for a Wireman. Four posts are for Jr. Engineer (Architect).
Eight posts are for Drug Formation Officer. Sixteen posts are for
Health Attendant. Fifty nine vacancies are for Village Attendant. Twenty
four posts are for Architecture Engineering Assistant. One post is for
Aarekhak. Six posts are for Sr. Assistant (in clerical category). Six
posts are there for Animal Assets Supervisor. Fifteen posts are for Jr.
Assistant (Clerk). Thirty three posts are available for Attendants.
Three posts are there for Extension Officer.
Eligibility Details
People under the age of eighteen need not apply for the vacant posts.
Those above the age of thirty three are also not eligible. Relaxation,
if any is as per rules and regulations stated by the government.
PG Degree , Degree of Commerce, Science Degree plus Midwifery Course,
Certified Electrician, HSC with D. Pharmacy, H.Sc, Engineering in
Civil/Electrical or Mechanical field and a person qualified for SSC
course in Livestock Administration with good marks is eligible for the
ZP vacancies.
Selection Process
Vacant posts will be filled only after a written exam and qualifying
interview has been cleared. Self-confident candidates will definitely be
preferred by the interview board, thereby candidates should do away
with their nervousness and face the interview panel with confidence.
Exam details
Exam for the above vacancies is going to be held at different venues
from 5.5.2013 to 25/5/2013. The examination centre is mentioned in
Admit Card AP Thane 2013. The admit card is to be issued by employer ZP.
Admit card can be downloaded from the net from 23rd of April to 4th of
May, 2013. These dates are however subject to change. For obtaining the
card one needs to give his registration number along with his date of
birth.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus
Recruitment exam requires knowledge of Marathi and English Knowledge,
General Knowledge, General Aptitude, Technical and Special Subjects and
knowledge of Mathematics. Applicants should study their own subjects in a
thorough manner.

Written test will be start from 5
th May, 2013 so applicant
can expect admit card from 1 week from the exam. Admit card will be
available online only so you need to visit regularly at authorized
website of Zill Parishad Thane to download admit card.
How to apply
One can apply by filling the form downloaded from
zpthane.maharashtra.gov.in. The form has to be sent with special
documents attached along with it.
Important dates and general instruction
Last date for sending applications is 22nd of April, 2013. For applying
for the posts with Zila Parishad one needs to pay the fee of Rs.300/ for
everyone in the open category and Rs.200/ - SC/ST and other caste
categories. The payment is to be made by a Demand Draft. Written exam is
scheduled for 25/5/2013.
